Introduction
RAADS-14 explores adult experiences involving social understanding, sensory sensitivity and social discomfort. Its 14 items distinguish experiences across different periods of life, making personal history part of the questionnaire.
For example, difficulty reading another person's feelings and discomfort with an ordinary texture concern different aspects of experience. Concrete examples can help explain which situations create difficulty and which surroundings are easier to navigate.
The 50-item AQ offers a longer set of adult trait questions. Neither form covers a full developmental history by itself. When discussing responses, information about childhood, relationships, study and work gives the pattern a setting.

Score interpretation bands
- 0-13Lower range
